Install and configure 3CX with WebTic
This guide covers installing 3CX on your server or through our cloud offering, and connecting it to the WebTic SIP trunk.
Option 1 — 3CX Cloud hosted by WebTic (recommended)
With our cloud offering, 3CX is already installed and configured. You receive by email:
- The URL of your 3CX administration console
- The initial administrator credentials
- The pre-configured SIP trunk
All that is left is to create your extensions from the 3CX interface.
Option 2 — Installation on your own server
System requirements
- Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or Debian 11/12 (64-bit)
- 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM minimum (4 GB recommended for 25+ extensions)
- 20 GB SSD disk
- Fixed public IP or domain name with SSL certificate
Installation on Linux (Ubuntu/Debian)
wget https://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/3cxpbx_18.0_amd64.deb dpkg -i 3cxpbx_18.0_amd64.deb
Then follow the web configuration wizard on port 5015 of your server.
