Paying with cryptocurrencies at WebTic
WebTic accepts cryptocurrency payments for all services. It is an ideal option for customers who wish to preserve their privacy or avoid international banking fees.
Accepted cryptocurrencies
- Bitcoin (BTC) — native Bitcoin network
- Ethereum (ETH) — Ethereum network (ERC-20)
- USDT — Tether on Ethereum (ERC-20) or Tron (TRC-20)
- USDC — USD Coin on Ethereum
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Monero (XMR)
Other cryptocurrencies may be available depending on the period. Check the options at checkout.
Payment procedure
- At checkout, select Cryptocurrency as the payment method
- Choose the cryptocurrency you want
- The amount in EUR is converted automatically at the real-time exchange rate (CoinGecko API)
- A unique wallet address is generated for this transaction
- Send exactly the amount shown from your wallet
- The payment is confirmed after 2 network confirmations (BTC) or 12 confirmations (ETH)
- Your service is activated automatically after confirmation
Confirmation times
- BTC: 10–60 minutes (depending on network congestion)
- ETH / USDT ERC-20: 1–5 minutes
- USDT TRC-20: 1–3 minutes (recommended for small amounts)
- LTC: 3–10 minutes
Payment window
You have 30 minutes to make the crypto transfer after the address is generated. After this time, the invoice expires and the exchange rate is recalculated. The order remains valid — simply restart the payment.
Refunds for crypto payments
Refunds for crypto payments are made as WebTic credit (EUR) on your account, because of price volatility. For a refund in crypto, contact our support within 48h of the payment.
Invoicing and VAT
Even for crypto payments, a EUR invoice is issued automatically for accounting reasons. Swiss VAT (8.1%) applies if relevant to your tax situation.
