AutoDial Contact Import

AutoDial (ViciDial) lets you import contact lists for your automatic outbound call campaigns. The import is done via a CSV file.

Required CSV file format

The file must be encoded in UTF-8 (without BOM), with a comma or semicolon separator:

phone_number,first_name,last_name,email,custom1,custom2
+33612345678,Jean,Dupont,jean.dupont@email.com,Reference1,
+33698765432,Marie,Martin,marie.martin@email.com,Reference2,VIP
0033622334455,Pierre,Bernard,,Reference3,

first_nameNoFree text
last_nameNoFree text
emailNoValid email format

Import procedure

  1. AutoDial Admin → Lists → Select or create a list
  2. Import leads tab
  3. Choose the format (CSV) and upload your file
  4. Map the CSV columns to the database fields
  5. Options: duplicate or deduplicate by number
  6. Start the import → report displayed (successes/errors)

Number cleaning rules

AutoDial automatically normalises numbers according to your campaign rules:

# Normalisation examples
0612345678 → +33612345678 (France country prefix added)
+33 6 12 34 56 78 → +33612345678 (spaces removed)
0033612345678 → +33612345678 (00 → + conversion)

Duplicate handling

  • Ignore duplicates: If the number already exists in the list, the line is ignored
  • Update: The existing contact's information is updated
  • Duplicate: The contact is added even if the number exists (to be avoided)

DNC list (Do Not Call)

Before importing, filter your list against the DNC list:

  1. AutoDial Admin → DNC List → Import the numbers to exclude
  2. When importing leads, enable the "Filter against DNC list" option
  3. DNC numbers are automatically excluded from the campaign

Import limits

  • Maximum file size: 50 MB (approximately 500,000 contacts)
  • For larger files: split into batches of 100,000 lines
  • Encoding: UTF-8 only (Excel files require conversion)
