License renewal and upgrades

WebTic offers software licenses for Windows Server, SQL Server, 3CX, and other solutions. Here is how to manage your renewals and upgrades.

Automatic renewal

Licenses are renewed automatically 7 days before expiration if:

  • A valid payment method is saved in your client area
  • Automatic renewal is enabled on the relevant service

To check: Client area → My Services → Select the license → Information tab

Manual renewal

  1. Client area → My Invoices → Find the renewal invoice
  2. Pay by card, bank transfer or account balance
  3. The license key is extended automatically within 15 minutes after payment

Upgrade procedure

  1. Client area → My Services → Select the license
  2. Upgrade/Downgrade tab
  3. Choose the new tier → Confirm
  4. Pay the prorated difference
  5. The new key is activated immediately or within 24h (depending on the vendor)

Microsoft keys (VLSC / CSP)

Microsoft licenses distributed via WebTic are of the CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) type:

  • Activation via the Microsoft 365 Admin portal or the Azure portal
  • No traditional product key — activation through the linked Microsoft account
  • Transfer between devices: possible within the limits of the license agreement

What to do on expiration

An expired license enters a grace period:

  • 3CX: Functional for 30 days after expiration (calls limited beyond that)
  • Windows Server: Works but displays warnings
  • SQL Server: No grace period — advanced features stop immediately

Contact WebTic support immediately in case of critical expiration.
