Pooled data: how it works and who it is for Print

  • 0

One plan for all your equipment

The traditional approach is to take out one subscription per device. Ten cameras, ten plans — and ten invoices, some for devices that consume almost nothing.

Pooled data reverses the logic: a shared allowance is split across all your SIM cards. A device that uses little automatically leaves headroom for the others.

Who it is for

  • 4G/5G routers — backup connection or site without a landline.
  • Video surveillance — cameras on remote sites, construction sites, car parks.
  • Sensors and IoT — readings, telemetry, alarms: very low volumes, but many devices.
  • Wifi hotspots — events, vehicle fleets, reception areas.
